So when they hear that oil sheik Erkan Mosque, one of the richest people in the world, bought Bornholm to turn the Danish island into a Middle Eastern holiday resort exclusively for "shababs", they don't think twice where to travel. Erkan Mosque doesn't only promise a place of palm trees and sand, but also "a paradise with no racism, just peace. No dumb politicians or corrupt police."

Shabholm is a powerful critique on extremism, isolationism and right-wing politics that divide us. Full of gags and clever satirical twists, it provides a commentary on identity and nationalism, proving how diversity is part of a country's richness.
