Kaboom Animation Festival is part of a new collaboration between media / design and social studies teachers.

From the beginning of the school year to the festival in November, third-year students (15-16 yrs) from X11 start working on their own animation, aimed at children. They will be visiting primary schools in the neighborhood, to interview children to get a better idea of what they are doing, what’s on their minds and what are good topics for their films.

In order to help them create this film, Kaboom will organize a masterclass and a workshop.The workshop will be hosted by film maker Jöns Mellgren, animator and director.

The masterclass is on Wednesday 16 October.
The workshop will take place during the festival.
The films the students have created, will be presented at the festival in November.
