Calling all animators, artists, and creators! Kaboom Animation Festival and Animated Women/World are excited to announce our open call for submissions to create a dynamic poster exhibition at the City Hall in Utrecht during the month of March 2023.

We invite you to submit a 5-30 second animation, along with a matching artwork, that explores the theme of “Beyond Perfection.” This theme is open to interpretation, giving you the freedom to showcase your unique perspective and artistic vision. Whether it’s pushing the boundaries of traditional animation techniques, or exploring the theme through a more abstract lens, we want to see what you can come up with. And the best part? Your artworks will come to life with an augmented reality layer, adding an extra layer of immersion for viewers. No prior experience with AR is needed to participate, just submit your animation and artwork through the form provided.
