The first edition of Kaboom Animation Festival took place from 9 – 17 November 2019. With 12 locations in two cities, 23 feature films, 22 competition programs, six different theme programs, 20 different specials and workshops, 17 virtual reality projects, three exhibitions, and a whole lot more to discover, we felt bigger and better than ever. We want to thank all of the visitors, partners, guests, speakers, filmmakers, volunteers, and helping hands and brains for joining our first edition of Kaboom Animation Festival in Amsterdam and Utrecht and we cannot wait for our next edition.
